Sarah Haanstra is the manager for Toward Common Ground (TCG). TCG is a collective planning model that centralizes local data and brings stakeholders together to respond to shared needs.
Sarah has an Honors BA in Psychology and Master in Social Work. For over 15 years, Sarah has worked in a variety of roles in the social service sector in Guelph and Wellington, including Social Planning Director at the United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin; research and facilitation consultant; and her current role with TCG. Most recently, Sarah was the lead researcher for the Vital Signs report, a partnership between the Guelph Community Foundation, the Community Engaged Scholarship Institute and Toward Common Ground. Sarah is a proud Guelphite who lives with her partner and two children in downtown Guelph.
